Meet Jessica Shunta — The Money Therapist™
Financial Stewardship & Pastoral Protection Strategist
I help Pastors, First Ladies, church administrators, and mission-driven leaders protect the pastor, secure the ministry, and ensure the vision continues with honor.
My work focuses on establishing a Pastoral Protection Policy™ and a continuity structure that provides stability to both the First Lady and the congregation when leadership transitions.
The Calling
My stewardship journey began in the church.
At 18 years old, I became the youngest financial secretary in my congregation's history — entrusted with oversight of the ministry's finances, reporting, audit preparation, and confidential financial handling.
This was not just an assignment — it was a calling into stewardship, honor, and accountability.
Professional Financial Leadership
Over the last 23 years, I have served in:
Banking & Consumer Lending Leadership
Branch Operations & Compliance Oversight
Auditing & Financial Accountability Processes
Supervising Financial Teams & Payroll Administration
Supporting Mission-Driven Organizations Through Growth & Transition
I understand how to build financial order, secure stability, and protect households and institutions facing leadership change.
Why Pastoral Protection Matters
When a Pastor transitions unexpectedly:
The First Lady and family are often left unprotected
The church may lose direction, stability, and unity
The ministry can become financially vulnerable during transition
A Pastoral Protection Policy™ ensures:
The Pastor's household is supported through church-approved salary continuation
The church remains financially stable
Leadership transition happens with clarity and dignity
The congregation does not experience turmoil in a moment of grief
This is not sales. This is stewardship. It is securing the ministry before crisis — not during it.
Core Beliefs
Leadership must be supported, not left vulnerable.
Ministries must not collapse when leadership changes.
The First Lady should never be left unprotected.
Financial stewardship is a spiritual responsibility.
Your Next Step
If you are responsible for the ministry's future, the time to prepare is before the
transition — not after.
